my boyfriend is really stressed out :( How should I be there for him ?
After me and my ex boyfriend and me broke up his friend was always there for me, even when my ex friends threw me out of their group and brainwashed him not to talk to me he always listened to me, stopped talking to them, he made me quit smoking too and said he loves me. We've been dating 4 months now but he liked me since last july when I was with my ex. He handles me, comes to know when I'm upset, etc makes me laugh and everything, but he never tells me about his problems he says he likes to be alone when he's low. so anyway since the past few days hes stressed about his college work exams and all cause he has alot of assignments plus very very important exams in May. till Monday night we were all alright also, yesterday when I bbmed him and called him he ignored me he bbmed me at night then saying he had back to back classes college assignments and stuff also. he told me he was studying and he's never ignored my call. I know there's no other chick in the picture too cause he isn't that type of a guy and he can't get anyone in a day he would never do anything to hurt me on purpose. hes a very calm person like I said before too but hes stressed I guess. today on bbm he put up an angry emoticon as his status and hes never done that before. How should I be there for him ? he pushes me away when I wanna cause he doesn't like sharing his problems with anyone and he likes to be alone.

21 Oct 2010 at 11:46am  Do you ever wonder about how your therapist does it? If you are a therapist, do you ever have a day when it takes everything in you not to reach over and slap your patient silly? Or raise a white flag in defeat? Occasionally people ask me, “How do you listen to peoples’ problems all day long without becoming depressed yourself?” The answer is the same for whatever the job is: we need to pay attention to balance. I do my best to balance the hours I dedicate to work, for family time, and for just plain old time off and play. But to be perfectly honest, there are those days when I find myself severely stressed out. It could be I’ve over-booked myself too many days in a row, or had a series of challenging sessions or maybe just one person I wonder if I’m really he...

10 Ways to Find a Good Therapist

26 Jan 2010 at 8:30pm  When we want to improve our bodies we pretty much know where to find help. This time of year the gyms are full and the meeting rooms at Weight Watchers are packed. Why should you have to get even more stressed out hunting for the right therapist? It’s like searching for a needle in a haystack unless you have some guidance. So here are a few tips: 1. Forget the yellow pages. A yellow pages listing is expensive so a lot of good people aren’t there. I’m not. Plus there is no oversight or regulation of who can list. 2. Ask a professional you already work with and trust. Your accountant, lawyer, dentist...
