how can i get over an anxiety disorder?
i'm sixteen and i've had an anxiety disorder for several years. i have terrible panic attacks that sometimes keep me from living my life. i don't like to tell anyone about it because i don't want people to think i'm a freak. i can usually force myself to get through the attacks without making a scene, but its just a horrible feeling i hate having to deal with. the worst part is that i've been dating someone for about six months. i finally opened up to him about my disorder and explained that it is the reason why i sometimes cancel dates at the last minute or act a little strange at times. he was really accepting of it, but i really like him a lot and i just want to be able to go out with him and not worry about panic attacks getting in the way. i'm sorry this is so long, but i'm just wondering if anyone who has gone through this, or even if you haven't, as any ideas that could help he get over this so i can be happy and enjoy being a teenager.

Do i have some sort of paranoia?
hi, thank you for taking you're time to read this, but i really need some help. I know full stop that their is something wrong with me! i'm 16 and iv already been diagnosed with anxiety and i have panic attacks, iv had concealing in my school but we just spoke about panic attacks, but it's getting even worse because i always think the work all the time like when im home alone and i think there's going to be a fire or somebody breaking in and hurting me. i think to myself i sound stupid and my mum told me i need help by a psychiatrist . i also think i have ocd because i can't go to bed without turning all the plug sockets off in the house before bed and if i dont, i can't sleep. it's like voices in my head all through the night thinking that there's going to be a fire and it's rewining my life, it's horrible, iv posted this on here becuase imscared to talk about it to a doctor face to face or my family & friends. please?? am i suffering from something iv never been so paranoid about everything in my whole entire life. thanks
