Can You Really End Panic Attacks for Good?

Many people who get panic attacks feel like their life is basically over. They feel out of control and possibly even like they are dying. If that is how you feel, you might seriously doubt there is any way you can end these panic attacks. Fortunately, if you have the right methods, you CAN eliminate the panic and live your life again. Put your doubt aside right now, and grasp onto this hope

The first thing you need to do is take stock of your symptoms. People suffer from different symptoms, and your treatment plan might differ depending on the ones who you are dealing with. If you are seeking the advice of a doctor, you should tell your doctor what symptoms you are experiencing so they can help you end your panic attacks.

After you have evaluated your symptoms, you need to do some research. Research what works for other people by joining forums that discuss panic attacks. You definitely don't want to focus on negative threads - focus on positive threads where people have found their answer. There are tons of people who have successfully banished their panic for good and it can be motivating for you to read their stories.

It's also a good idea to read books and e-books written by people who have been in your situation. There are many great techniques out there that have worked for thousands of people. By reading about these methods, you can further perfect your own personalized plan to end your Panic Attacks. Some of these techniques are even downloadable, which is important when you need this information as soon as possible.

Another thing you might want to do is join a support group. Knowing that there are other people going through the same thing can actually help you get through it all. You feel like you're not alone and that you're not going crazy - this is a true disorder that you can end with some effort.

At this point, you probably have a good grasp on what your symptoms are as well as different methods you can try to eliminate your Panic Attacks. Not all the methods will work for you, so you need to read through them and find the ones that will! After you've done that, it's time to create a plan for getting rid of your Panic Attacks. Take note of what you can do in the short term as well as the long-term so you can start to feel better.

I think my boyfriend causes my panic attacks?
I don't have panic attacks often but the last 2 that I can remember exactly were with him. Just a little detail, we've been together for 5 years, I lived with him 1 Summer but moved back home to help with my little sister etc... A few months ago we were in his room, I was trying to answer somebody's question on the computer and he was waiting for me to go to the gym with him. It would have taken me maybe 5 minutes to finish typing but he wouldn't leave me alone, literally kept repeating himself "hurry up, are you done yet, do it later, hurry, c'mon let's go," just over and over again. Even thinking about it puts the same stress back into my chest and makes me CRINGE. He did that for nearly 10 minutes and I freaked out and just stopped trying to type. Tried getting ready and I had to sit on the floor and calm myself before I went into a full blown panic attack. Well just tonight, I came to his house and he was drunk. He has an alcohol problem, and I don't drink or anything anymore so I'm always sober around him. When he's drunk he turns into a kid, loud, obnoxious, needing somebody to do everything for him, wants me to be next to him every 2 seconds. Im hypoglycemic and was getting sick, I was trying to explain it to him and he wouldn't let me go so I had to be firm with him and make him let me go. Then he starts pestering me, and I try to be nice and tell him to stop and he will continue over and over again. And I get the same pain in my chest, to where I can't breathe. And I get upset and I try explaining to him I need a moment and he wouldn't stop "why, whats wrong, uh hello, are you gonna tell me why," over and over again and I busted into tears this time, couldn't breathe, shaking. Snapped at him to give me a moment to catch my breath. A few minutes later I was able to talk and he just didn't understand went back into the same phrases, "why...etc" Does this type of anxiety or panic attack happen to anybody else? I don't understand what/why it happens? Help :(

Panic Attacks vs. Xanax or Valium?
Hi, About 7 Years ago I use to had several panic attacks, I was on Zoloft(100mg daily for almost 2 years) I stopped the Zoloft because I don't like to live using prescription drugs and around 4 Months ago I start to have again Cold Feet, Tachycardia, pain in several spots of My Body a different times of the day(Elbow, biceps, hand, chest, forearm, knee, lat, neck, jaw.etc) just like when I used to have panic attacks, So, Do You Think that those are symptoms that can be treated with Valium or Xanax(Something that doesn't have to be daily like Zoloft? Besides that I don't drink alcohol at all! So maybe that's positive for a prescription without harming My Health? Could You Please Tell Me What are the Symptoms for the use of Valium or Xanax? Thank You In Advance Regards P.S. I'm 38 Years Young Male, Non Smoker, I don't drink at all, Athletic, But My Father passed away for a heart attack when He was just 45 Years Young and He was athletic as well(This is for maybe an inherit condition of the heart that I add Just In case Xanax or Valium are dangerous)
