The first thing you can do is to avoid overeating and eat healthy diet so that you can calm anxiety. Secondly, do not use illegal drugs or indulge in drinking, as it will only worsen your condition. Exercising every day is the third thing that you can do to stop anxiety attacks. A thirty-minute walk will stimulate production of chemicals, which will make you feel relaxed. This will also help you to sleep better in night. Meditative exercise like yoga and Tai Chi can also be useful in coping with anxiety. You can calm your mind by deep breathing and meditation.

You should see a therapist when the above-mentioned methods fail to solve your problem. No matter how bad the problem of anxiety, there is always help. Medication is also a good way to get rid of anxious feelings and to stop anxiety attack.

how to stop anxiety and not to worry?
i am 14 years old and have just moved to a new town about 2 months ago. At my last town if say someone wanted to fight me i would start to worry but nothing to big. but it did not bother me because i thought everyone thinks like this once in a while. but since i have moved even if i see some kid from school that i have never talked too down town i start thinking all these bad thoughts and wont stop thinking them for weeks. Even if someone asks me what i think of someone and i say something good i still start to worry that that guy might have a problem with me or so. Another example is if i have been talking to a kid at school for about 10 minutes and then walk of i start thinking stuff like what if that guy was pretending to like me and actually hates me and stuff. I was just wondering if their is anything that can be done to not think like this because it has made me really depressed. But please don't say occupy your self because if i try to do something else i just stop what im doing and start thinking all these bad thoughts.alo if i think of someone from school even if their my friend i start worrying. i cant live like this anymore and pleae dont say go to a doctor or something becaue i have not told anyone like any family members or friends because i am too imbaressed... So please someone help? just does anyone know what to say to help me? also i used to believe that it only had to do with guys from schools and stuff, but a few days ago i was watching a show and this guy bought something thats wasnt worth it and i started feeling reall bad for him and started thinking all the thingshe coyld of used that oney on instead..and last i had dry with this girl and after that i though i could of gotten her pregnant even though we both had clothes on..i no none of this stuff can happen but my mind wont stop thinking bout this stuff.. please help?

I have built up a resistance to my anti-anxiety meds? Alternatives?!?
I am unable to calm myself down during a panic attack (or to prevent myself from having one).. any tips as to how to do this? I almost always freak out because I think I am going to throw up (as I have emitophobia), so many times my anxiety and nausea are linked. Should I switch to different medications? I'm taking clanazopam and xanex, both p.r.n, but anymore they don't seem to be working much. And my anxiety attacks are lasting longer (around 1-2 hours), more frequently (~2 times per week), and my nausea is also getting worse each time (I keep feeling more and more like I need to throw up). Any tricks on how to stop anxiety? Or maybe suggestions for better medications that I would not have a tolerance for? Thx
