Is it depression? Or just a good case of churchy upbringing and the "Guilties"?
I need some help here. I've answer a lot of cries for help and now it's my turn. Any idea what's wrong? Or maybe there's nothing wrong at all. . . I don't enjoy doing anything. I can do a few little things but if it's over an hour or so I start getting really anxious and feeling guilty. So I don't do any hobbies or anything like that, so as to avoid those feelings of guilt. I never take vacations and rarely watch movies or buy clothes or go out. I'm good at my work so I do that, every day. I'm comfortable mostly when I'm working. I fill spare minutes with volunteer work. I can't take meds - too many allergies and anxieties over their effects. I can't do much exercise - there are physical limitations. Can't even walk much anymore. My digestive system in usually in rebellion and it hurts or aches or feels sore. Suicidal thoughts sometimes fly through my mind but they don't linger and are gone in like 1-2 seconds so I'm really not worried about them. This has been going on for many years. I won't say how many, but before the Internet! But in the last few months the anxiety, insomnia and the digestive suffering have been getting worse. Thanks for reading.
